The academic year commences in September. Prospective students should apply before the end of April each year in order to be considered for admission in September. However, late applications are accepted. Applicants for all programmes must be at least 17 years old at the time of entry. Entry requirements are as follows: Certificate in Fisheries/Aquaculture Studies Entry
Requirements OR Mature students with a sound secondary education. Diploma in Agriculture Entry Requirements Passes in four (4) subjects at GCE ‘O’Level, or CXC General Proficiency, including English Language and at least one (1) Science subject – Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Agriculture Science or Integrated Science. OR An equivalent qualification approved by the school. Diploma in Animal Health & Veterinary Public Health Entry Requirements Passes in four (4) subjects at GCE ‘O’Level or CXC General Proficiency, including English Language and at least one (1) Science subject – Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Agriculture Science or Integrated Science. OR An equivalent qualification approved by the school. Diploma in Livestock Production & Management Entry Requirements Passes in four (4) subjects at GCE ‘O’Level or CXC General Proficiency, including English Language and at least one (1) Science subject – Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Agriculture Science or Integrated Science. OR An equivalent qualification approved by the school. Certificate in Agriculture Entry Requirements Passes in three (3) subjects at GCE ‘O’Level or CXC General Proficiency. Preference will be given to those with passes in English Language, Mathematics, Agriculture Science or Integrated Science. Certificate in Forestry Entry Requirements Passes in three subjects at GCE 'O' Level (grade A, B, or C,) or CXC General Proficiency (grades I,II, or III.) Preference will be given to those persons who have English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject.
