The National Agricultural Research Institute operates and maintains several locations:

This nursery is located at Potaro Road, Bartica, Essequibo. It is a small plant nursery, propagation center and sales unit. It also houses a small Cassava Germplasm collection.

This is a nursery propagation center and trial station for crop research. They also house a small Fruit Germplasm collection. Their address is 63 Village, Corentyne, Berbice and their telephone number is 338-2428.

Located at Charity on the Essequibo Coast, this is a plant nursery, propagation center and sales unit. It also sells Acoushi Ant bait. A small Citrus Germplasm collection is to be established there soon.

This is a sub-crop unit. Its main areas of activity are the production of corn and minica - 4 (red beans) for sale to farmers, the production of sorghum as food for livestock and the breeding of sheep for the eventual sale to farmers. There is also a germplasm collection which includes four varieties of peanuts, one variety of pigeon peas, three varieties of sorghum, 14 varieties of chickpea, two varieties of corn and soya.

At present there is no nursery but they are in the process of constructing one.

This is a station for vegetable research. It also houses a small Fruit Germplasm collection and a Root Crops Germplasm collection.

Located at Hosororo in the North West District this is a propagation center for organic plants with emphasis being placed on cocoa. The Hosororo nursery houses a Cocoa Germplasm collection. It is also the center for organic cocoa research. Their telephone number is 777-5080.

This is a horticultural station located on the Linden - Soesdyke Highway. It is the research station for crops such as Yams, Sweet Potatoes and Peanuts. Kairuni also houses the institute's main Fruit and Perennial Crops' Germplasm collection. Acoushi Ants bait is produced and sold at this location.

This is the most recently added nursery for NARI. It is a seed multiplication nursery for vegetables such as bora, ochro, tomatoes, etc, and a sales unit for citrus plants. It is located at Lesbeholden in  the Corentyne . There is, however, no contact number for this nursery.

This is the site of NARI's Headquarters and Laboratories. It has a large plant nursery and sales unit. General research on crops are conducted here and there is also a Fruit and Perennial Crops Germplasm collection. Acoushi Ants bait is also made and sold at this location. This is the largest plant propagation center, nursery facility and sales unit. It houses a Fruit and Perennial Crops Germplasm collection and the original cocoa germplasm collection. The Timehri nursery also sells Acoushi Ants bait. The telephone number for this nursery is 261-2201
